The Former Ishiagu Community Development Union ICDU President, Chief Ike Cletus Ngah has joined millions of Nigerians to throw his support behind the presidential ambition of the Ebonyi State Governor, Chief Dave Umahi, calling on Nigerians to support his aspiration.
Chief Ngah in an interaction with journalist in Abakaliki said that the transformation witnessed in Ebonyi State in the 7 years has remained unprecedented adding that Governor Umahi If elected as Nigeria President no doubt will replicate his achievements in Nigeria.
According to him, “as an Ebonyi man and someone who has travelled to many states of the country, I can tell you that the level of development witnessed in the state cannot be seen anywhere despite the little resources accrued to the state. It baffles many how Gov Umahi has been able to achieve all he has achieved in the state”
“There is no gain saying that having accessed the capacity and performance of other aspirants contesting the President of the country, one will come to the conclusion that Governor Umahi is the one Nigeria needs to change the narrative of the country and bring about development to the nooks and crannies of the country”.
“Want to use this opportunity to urge every good meaning Nigerians to pledge their support for the incumbent Governor of Ebonyi state Gov. David Umahi. The support will in no doubt show that Nigerians appreciates the land mark achievements recorded in Ebonyi state in the last 7 years”.
“I as the former ICDU President and one who is resident in Ebonyi and have followed the activities of government, I am proud to project him to all Nigerians as the President that would ensure that the Nigeria of our dreams is actualized as soon as possible”.
“Nigerians have suffered a lot and we should not make the mistake of giving power to anybody who cannot ensure that Nigerians are better for it”.

Chief Ngah noted that any candidate aspiring for the presidency of the country must be a good leader that understand the demands of his office and has the political will to tackle it.
“What Nigerians need now is a leader that is patriotic. Well experienced in government policies, one who promotes education and willing to help the middle working class, these are the qualities that Gov. Umahi has exhibited in Ebonyi state”.
