Police Arrest Pastor for allegedly Defiling underage House-Help

Police operatives of Zone 9, Umuahia Police Headquarters have arrested the Pastor of the Nation of Christ Destiny Ministries International in Umuahai, Abia State, Bishop Jeremiah Henshaw for allegedly defiling his 14 year old house help.
In a statement issued by the Zone’s Police Spokesman, SP George Okafor, the Pastor confessed to the crime.
Okafor said: “a credible information was received on the 2nd of March by Police Operatives of zone 9 police Headquarters, Umuahia, that one Bishop Jeremiah Henshaw of Nation of Christ Destiny Assembly Ministries International, No 27 Mission Hills Umuahia, had carnal knowledge of his under age House Help”.
“Police quickly swung into action and the Bishop was arrested and interrogated. He confessed to have defiled the 14 year old girl in his statement, stating that he was unprotected while having carnal knowledge of the victim. He claims that it was his first time of such amorous relationship with the victim. He will appear in Court as soon as investigation is completed”.
“In view of this development, the Zone 9 Headquarters hereby advise parents to be wary of the type of person they entrust their children to”.
The Police also enjoined members of the public to provide credible and timely information on crimes and criminalities in order to enable the Police rid the Zone of criminal elements.
