Ebonyi State Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Professor Ben Odoh has named Ohaozara Medical Doctor, Dr. Nkata Chukwu as his Running Mate.
Odoh expressed optimism that he stands a better chance of winning the 2023 governorship in the State.
He noted that APGA will defeat the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party in the State.
Odoh who announced Dr Nkata Chukwu as his Running Mate in Abakaliki during a media parley with Journalists noted that he is the most competent and credible contestant for the governorship position in the state.
He added that the factional crises in All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party in the state over their flag bearers have placed APGA as the only stable and credible political party that will provide democratic dividends in the state.
The Professor assured that he would invest hugely on the welfare of the people, eradicate poverty and ensure massive employment of the youths.
Odoh said: “I have high chances of wining the governorship position. I have learnt some lessons from the 2019 governorship election. I have the pedigree and credibility than all other contestants. APGA is the most stable and peaceful political party in Ebonyi State. As it stands now, APC and PDP are still parading factional flag bearers”.
“Nobody should be deceived that APGA has no structure in Ebonyi and we are prepared to win election in 2023. I challenge my opponents in other political parties to come for debates, so that we know who is prepared to do the job. We will invest on the people and not to embark on projects that will not add value to citizens.
“We will not interfer in many things and our focus will be on the welfare of the People. We will invest on the people, then they will shun cultism everywhere.
“The issue of zoning formula doesn’t matter, what Ebonyians should be considering much now, is on who is more qualified to govern the state properly.
“My heart bleed on issue concerning about Ebonyi people who are hawking in Lagos and other states of the Federation. We will provide good security, health and good education for our people”.
